'Paapa..don't wear such heavy (she meant fancy) earrings.Gradually these earrings pull down the piercing on the ear-lobe which isn't good.Wear a small gold earring round in shape for everyday use.It will suit your face and look nice too' .. I told her I don't earn enou' to buy gold (he he..) she says '..Hmm, Well,give me u'r one month's salary & I will buy you a gold earring from my hometown (TN) '

This is the scene this morning btw me & a 'Tender-Coconut' Vendor as I stopped for a sip on the way to office.I told her I will keep her advice in mind and get one round gold earring soon :-)

I thank the kind heart for the motherly concern.Walked into office with a positive feeling and a smile.

12:30 pm & Hunger pangs already.Time for 'Alt + Ctrl + Del' ..PC locked.Went to the Cafeteria and saw the day's lunch menu on the notice board .. It has become a routine process although I usually end up having 3 chapathi's .But today was not just another day. Just couple of minutes back I was kicked out of the Blood Donation Camp coz of LOW HB.So I decided to quit on my usual diet plan and have the South Indian Full Meal as if it would help the HB shoot up before the camp ends.ha ha !

South Indian Menu:
Masala Dosa
Aloo p alya
Tomato Bath
Plain Rice
Pumpkin Sambar
Rasam
Curd
Pickle
Sweet

Got all of these in the 'not-so-comfy' big white plate ( I just hate them) and decided to start hogging with my buddy.Just then .. I realized something missing in my plate.. oh there it was.. "Where is Aloo palya?" ..hmm,looked like I missed to take it from the serving counter.So went back to the counter but there was no trace of Aloo palya being served.Confused,I take a look at the menu again.. it was just there.. displayed 'bold & beautiful'. So now straight I go to the main 'serving' guy and ask him authoritatively ... ' Where is Aloo palya?' and he stares at me.. smiles and says unregretfully - ' the palya is inside the Masala Dosa?'................Ggggggrrrrrrhhhhhhhh..
